Cup-O-Rooibos started in March 2021 after I joined Annique Rooibos Health and Beauty under my sponsor Michelle Goodwin and in Team Tea-Riffic.  

Skeptical at first, and through years of convincing myself that I will never be able to do sales as it was not in my genes, I decided to go all in with bells on!  I completed the training provided, and optimistically created my Facebook page, Cup O Rooibos and a WhatsApp group.  

Just to go back in my history a bit – when I was in Grade 10 (better known as Standard 8 in my time), we were semi forced to do a test which would determine which line of work you should study and and then ultimately do.  I apparently was perfect to perform any kind of sales related work.  I simply made up my mind then, that I would never do sales, as I have never really been a people’s person, and could not see myself doing any kind of sales.  Later on in life I worked at a newspaper selling classified / small ads and I also worked as a General Manager at a popular family restaurant in Pretoria, where I had to deal with people all the time.  It was actually more a case of managing personalities!  But I have ultimately spent most of my grown-up days working in the state sector, and have, and still am, learned a lot about people and their behavior.

What made the Annique opportunity unique to me is the fact that I did not have to face people one-on-one to make a sale, and I could do most of my interaction via social media.  So, after going in with bells on, I managed to achieve my Fast Start Challenge (40 days, 70 days, and 90 days) within about 50 days!  I was super proud of myself.  The Annique opportunity does not end with sales, and I started building my own team, Team Cup O Rooibos, which I have to give guidance to and ensure that I am a good mentor to my downline.  Much easier said than done!

One of the most important things when I joined Annique and started Cup O Rooibos  is that I had a WHY.  A deep desire to achieve certain goals in my life, and at the same time encourage people to do their best to also reach their goals and WHY’s in life.  

My newly found business has given me a new sense of belonging and self worth.  I feel motivated and my self-confidence and esteem have grown exponentially.  Besides my emotional growth my skin looks and feels great, and I don’t look and feel like a grandmother (well not too much!). 

My Passion

My passion in life is firstly my grandson, Chad Luke Burns, and my 4 children, Ludwig, Anthony, Leon-Pierre and Leozel, and also those children (Retha and Bokkie) and grandchildren (Michael and Ashley-Leigh) born through my heart and not my womb.  Without them I would have a pretty boring life.  My life partner, Cuan, with whom I’ve been for just about 16 years now, also completes me, and allows me to be my own unique me.  

I have a passion to inspire people, to do good wherever I can, and to ensure that my children and grandchildren become the best they can be.  I believe that God made each one of us unique and that He has a dream in His heart for everyone, and it is up to us to find our dreams and make them reality.  

More present it is my passion to see my business be successful and that I can do and manage my business with integrity and above reproach.  I believe that customer service generally has to bear the brunt in our country and therefore at ZelTnique we strive to deliver the best customer service we can, and ensure that all of our clients feel special and unique as they are.  

I also strive to be the best possible leader to my team – ensuring that they are equipped with all they need in terms of product knowledge and skills to ensure that they too can be successful and live their dreams. 

I am generally speaking a very straightforward person – and was taught from one of my mentors to say things exactly like it is.  This therefore makes me a person with whom you know exactly where you stand, and there is no beating around the bush in my business as well.  I will walk the extra mile for you to ensure that you receive the ultimate service and ensure that you get the product that suits your specific needs.

My Goals

As previously said, I don’t beat around the bush – So my main goal is to make money!  But to do this I need to reach certain goals, not only in my personal life but also in my business.  

My goal is to establish one of the most successful teams within Annique Rooibos Health and Beauty with consultants that know what they are talking about, can give expert advice and ensure that you receive and use the product best suited for your specific need.  

At Annique we believe in selling solutions to everyday problems of general health, skincare and body care.  If you have an ailment Annique sure will have a remedy, or something that will assist in managing it.  

I want to offer all my clients this expert service and ensure that optimal professionalism in all that me and my team do for  you.  

My further goals are to ensure that all my downline team members build their own successful businesses and go from strength to strength.  When it’s all said and done, and my time comes to leave this earthly home, I want to leave a legacy to my children and grandchildren, and to those whose lives I have touched.  Not a legacy that must be whispered in the wind, but one that will be shouted out and that will leave a lasting impression.

About the Sunflowers Group

We are a group of like minded Annique Rooibos Independent Consultants and Team Leaders, looking to grow our own individual small businesses, but also who want to support and encourage each other, and by doing so, empowering other like-minded females to join our various teams, we will empower and teach them to build their own businesses and achieve their goals and ultimately their life dreams.
